Task:
Creation of an online special for the market launch of the new MINI Cabrio that transports the overall communication theme and claim of the car: "Always open." Creation of something really new and innovative, corresponding with the car's character, product substance and quality.

Idea:
Twenty-four hours in the lives of two buddies, their dog and a MINI Cabrio.

Description:
The new MINI Cabrio online-special breaks down the frontiers between the two media internet and film and gives new life to the strained term "interactive".
Six movie clips – filmed especially for the online module – are integrated into an interactive Flash MX module. With their mouse users can rotate the camera on a circular path around the MINI Cabrio to get an all-round impression of the car. During the rotation around the car a time span of 24 hours is also covered. At six points on the camera orbit, users can stop the rotation and seamlessly start the six film clips. Every film offers different possibilities of interaction with the actors and the product, always different, always surprising and, of course, always open.
