MINI LIVING promotes the idea of living mindfully and sustainably in the 21st century.
New ideas emerge from exchange and interaction. For Salone del Mobile 2017, MINI LIVING has brought together a team of creatives from around the world to discuss concepts of ‘conscious living’ and try out new approaches. With 'Breathe', the New York architectural firm SO – IL has designed a strong statement that asks questions pertaining to sustainability and living together in the city. Assemble is truly productive. The collective of architects from London is exhibiting a temporary version of its project 'A Factory As It Might Be', which was previously in use at the A/D/O creative spaces in New York. The on-site production of utensils provides an impression of how a manufacturing process can become a creative activity through experimentation and collaboration. The Conscious Café created by New York food designer Laila Gohar allows for experiencing food and its preparation in new ways.
